This tour offers transportation from Piraeus port to Athens and back. You will be escorted the whole time by a professional tour guide that will provide an onboard guiding service by explaining as you are viewing sights and monuments in Piraeus and Athens.
In Piraeus you will pass by the picturesque ports of Microlimano and Kastella. Also you will be able to see the stadium of Peace and Friendship.
In Athens, after a 30 min. trip from Piraeus, The Hadrian Arch of Triumph, The marble Panathenian Olympic Stadium, where you will be given time to take photos, The Temple of Zeus, The Tomb of the unknown Soldier and The former Royal Palace which is now The Greek House of Parliament. You will also see The Athenian Trilogy, on Panepistimiou str. which is consisted by The University of Athens, The Academy of Athens and The National Library.
After the City Tour the bus will drop you off so you can start exploring on your own. Your tour guide will give you the time and the meeting point for the final departure to Piraeus. Also you will get useful tips about the attractions the city has to offer that will make your exploration much more interesting.
When it is time to head back to Piraeus and everyone has assembled at the meeting point your tour guide will make sure that everyone is on the bus and escort you back to the port of Piraeus. On the way back you will have the chance to discuss your experience in Athens with your tour guide and answer any questions you may have.
Children under 3 years of age can join the tour without a charge. Gratuities and entrance fees are not included. The ticket for the new Acropolis Museum costs 15.00 euro. and for the Acropolis 20.00 euro.
