From Katakolon port to Olympia you will be escorted by a professional tour guide that will provide general information about Katakolon, Olympia, Pyrgos and the prefecture of Ilia. Also all necessary information, to prepare you for your guided tour in Olympia, will be passed on. When reaching Olympia your tour guide will assist to buy your tickets so you wont lose valuable time by waiting in line. After that you will join a small group, no more than 25 people, in a semi-private guided tour experience of the ancient Olympic Games site and the famous Archaeological museum of Olympia.
After your two hour tour and a busy day unwind at the peaceful environment of Thanos Touris Taverna. His mother Vasso, one of the best restaurateurs in Olympia, will give you a warm welcome and offer you homemade style traditional Greek and Mediterranean cuisine dishes from an all you can eat buffet. Wine from local biological cultivated grapes is included. For desert a treat of loukoumades with pure Greek honey will complete your dining experience.
The restaurants pool is at your disposal for a quick swim before lunch or relaxation on the sun beds after your meal.
When it is time for the final departure your guide will make sure that everyone is on the bus and escort you back to Katakolon. On the way your guide will be happy to discuss your experience in Olympia and answer any questions you may have.
Children under 3 years old can join the tour without a charge. For children under 6 years of age the price is 96 euro.
